Whole Wheat Bread



PREP and PRESENTATION NOTES

  • This bread is easy to make and best eaten while still warm.
  • To store, first allow loaf to cool completely before covering, then add a cotton cloth to the container to absorb moisture.


INGREDIENTS

    Bread
    • 1 1/2 tsp yeast
    • 3 C flour
    • 1 1/4 C whole wheat flour
    • 2 tsp salt
    • 1/3 C butter
    • 1 C milk


    DIRECTIONS

    Bread
    • Place yeast in corner of bread pan of automatic bread machine. 
    • Layer on top of yeast: flour, whole wheat flour, salt, butter, milk. 
    Bake
    • Bake in bread maker.
