PREP and PRESENTATION NOTES
- This one-pot dinner, cooked in a covered heavy saucepan on the stovetop, is simple and delicious.
Stew
- 2 T olive oil
- 1 lb veal cubes
- 1 small onion, minced
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 potatoes, peeled, diced
- 3 carrots, peeled, cut
- 1 C frozen peas
DIRECTIONS
Stew
- Brown veal in olive oil on all sides.
- Add onions, potatoes, and carrots. Cover, cook on low heat until meat is done and vegetables are tender, about 30 minutes.
- Add peas and heat 2 more minutes, until peas are tender.
