PREP and PRESENTATION
NOTES
- A delicious and nutritious main dish.
- Seasoning Option 1 is prepared with marinade.
- Seasoning Option 2 is prepared with garlic and lemon.
- In Seasoning Option 3, salmon is prepared plain, without additional seasoning.
INGREDIENTS
Salmon
- 1 salmon fillet
- 1 T butter
- 1/3 C orange juice
- 1/3 C soy sauce
- 3 T ketchup
- 3 T oil
- 1 T honey
- 1/2 tsp ginger, ground
- 3 cloves garlic, sliced
- 1/2 lemon, sliced into rounds, seeded
- (no seasoning required)
DIRECTIONS
Preparation
- Butter a glass pie plate or baking dish large enough to lay out the salmon flat.
- Place salmon skin-side down in dish.
- Mix marinade ingredients.
- Add to salmon and marinate in refrigerator one hour.
- Sprinkle salmon with garlic.
- Arrange lemon slices to cover surface of salmon.
- No seasoning required.
- Bake at 400 degrees F for 25 minutes.
